“Start with the Standards” is the theme for IPC’s 2018 membership campaign, focuses on IPC’s standards for electronics that keep us safe.
The idea behind this design is that electronics are a huge part of our everyday lives, from the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep after a long day of work. Electronics make our day, IPC helps make those electronics better.
The client’s request for this campaign was for it be emotional, personal, and tug at people’s heart strings.
In the first poster, I used a little girl playing a video game and made the typography part of her, emphasizing the fact that electronics are part of our lives.
The same idea is reflected in the second poster, with a pregnant woman holding a tablet showing an ultrasound.
