Master of Techniques Shirt Design

Client: Bender Martial Arts & Fitness

Bender Martial Arts & Fitness is a martial arts school located in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago. The head coach requested a t-shirt design that would parody Metallica’s album cover “Master of Puppets”. He wanted the design to feature kimonos in place of the iconic crosses you see on the band’s album cover. The design also includes a skyline of Chicago, where the academy is located.
